#3.) Beating Awesome Kong at Final Resolution 2008
This match is rightfully described as one that inspired a generation. In 2008, Gail Kim and Awesome Kong went head-on in what was easily the biggest Women’s match in TNA history at that point. The match was built up so well that TNA made sure it had a big fight feel to it. Awesome Kong and Gail Kim were also hyped as the top stars of the Knockouts division.
In a No DQ contest for the title, Kim and Kong had an all-out war, dishing out punishment to each other like never before. It paid off as it led to an excellent match as Kim pinned Awesome Kong to retain her title and get the biggest win of her career. It’s a true classic and we highly recommend it.
