#2.) vs Kenny Omega – Wrestle Kingdom 12
Chris Jericho shocked the world in late 2017 when he made the jump to New Japan Pro Wrestling, targetting then-IWGP United States Champion Kenny Omega. This led to a dream match at Wrestle Kingdom 12 but many thought that Jericho was far too past his prime to hang with Omega, who by this point was already considered among the top 2-3 wrestlers in the world.
But they blew the roof off the building and how! Even in a stacked Wrestle Kingdom card, Omega and Jericho took it to the next level and we saw a motivated Jericho that we hadn’t seen in years in WWE. The match was brutal and far from PG. At the end, Omega one but that didn’t stop them from having a 5-star classic.
