#4.) WrestleMania moment
CM Punk was essentially the hottest commodity in WWE, being WWE Champion once. One of his toughest tests up to that point came in the form of the multi-time World Champion Chris Jericho, who was his WrestleMania 28 WWE title opponent. Unfortunately, they weren’t in the main event because The Rock vs John Cena was obviously a bigger, more marketable headliner.
That didn’t stop Punk and Jericho from having a great match and the rivalry leading up to it was quite personal. It was a huge accomplishment for Punk when he beat Jericho to stand tall at The Grandest Stage Of Them All.
