4. Paige Becomes The Inaugural NXT Women’s Champion
The NXT Women’s Championship is a huge contributing factor to the women’s evolution in WWE. When this Championship was created, everything about it felt so much different from the WWE Divas Championship that the main roster had at the time. On July 26th, 2013, Paige and Emma did battle to the crown the inaugural champ and the Anti-Diva came out on top.
This was a huge moment for her as not only was it completely historic, but it showed the faith that the company had in her to set the tone for what the NXT Women’s Championship should be and would become.
