2. Paige and AJ Lee vs. The Bella Twins (WWE WrestleMania 31)
Ah, The short-lived pairing of Freaks and Geeks. AJ Lee is easily the most overlooked women in my opinion when it comes to discussing the woman’s Evolution. She is the one that made it cool to not be a diva and made it cool to say that you wanted to do this your whole life. Paige was born into pro wrestling and wanted to change the way women were seen in wrestling. The Bella Twins, at the time, were the antithesis of this. They were seen as the Barbie dolls and the epitome of the word Diva. So, the former Rivals put aside their differences and teamed up for this WrestleMania match-up which was built on the back of the #GiveDivasAChance movement. The match was pretty good for its time and it was more important as to where the Divas were going. Unfortunately, AJ Lee retired the next night and Freaks and Geeks as a tag team was just as short-lived as the television show it was named after.
