#1.) The “Razor Ramon” character wasn’t original
Vince McMahon originally planned for Scott Hall to be an army-like character based off G.I Joe. Instead, Hall asked if he had seen Scarface and derived the Razor Ramon character from there.
Here’s the thing, it isn’t even “based” off it. It’s fairly clear that Razor Ramon is taken from Tony Montana. The accent and mannerisms match and to go into further detail, the movie’s theme song is “Don’t walk along the Razor’s Edge” . Along with this, he even used some lines from the movie such as “Say goodnight to the bad guy” and “Say hello to my little friend“.
To his credit, he executed it perfectly.
