Sting’s role in TNA can’t be emphasized on enough. Dixie Carter seemed more than willing to give Sting the deals and contracts that he wanted out of respect for him. Even so, she mentioned that TNA wouldn’t have risen to the levels they did had it not been for The Vigilante.
She said that it was a huge statement made by TNA to sign The Icon and that his signing paved the way for other superstars to join the roster. Sting would have an extremely eventful run with the company, collecting a total of 5 world championships with the company.
