#5.) He was a mentor of sorts to Sheamus
Not many people know this, but Sheamus was a major Goldust project. The Celtic Warrior debuted on the main roster in 2009, appearing in WWE’s ECW brand. Naturally, he wasn’t going to be there for long as WWE had bigger plans for him on RAW. Goldust was given the assignment of shaping Sheamus up and getting him ready for RAW.
Goldust has always praised Sheamus, stating that it was easy to work with him because he had a thirst for knowledge and gave everything he had to improve. Sheamus would debut on RAW and in very short time, became WWE Champion (by dethroning John Cena, nonetheless!). Goldust naturally took pride in the fact that he won it as fast as he did.
Sheamus would go on become a 4-time world champion and rack up accolades and accomplishments.
