#1.) Battle with Acromegaly
Like Andre The Giant, The Big Show suffered from Acromegaly, a disease that causes abnormal growth. It’s usually found in middle age adults and hard to spot as a child. However, unlike Andre, The Big Show had a successful surgery to rectify this problem. Believe it or not, at the age of 12 he was already 6 foot tall and by the time he hit 17, he was 7 feet tall!
One can only imagine how that impacted his life at an early age.
