#4.) Beating Beth Phoenix for the Women’s Championship
It was in London on an episode of RAW where Mickie James continued her feud with Beth Phoenix. Unsuccessful in a prior attempt to capture the Women’s Championship from The Glamazon, she was given one more opportunity. The two had a fantastic, quick-paced match together and despite the crowd being behind James, no one really believed that the dominant champion would lose.
Phoenix looked like she was in position to retain the title as she got ready for a Glam Slam, but James cleverly countered her attempt into a roll-up pin, beating Phoenix in a huge upset to capture the Women’s title. The crowd erupted as the upset happened and James quickly went to the ramp to the celebrate while a dejected Beth Phoenix looked on in the ring.
