Trish Stratus had been involved in a heated feud with Victoria where the latter beat her at Survivor Series 2002 in a Hardcore match. They even had an incredible Chicago Street Fight on RAW, which Victoria won thanks to help from Stevie Richards.
After failing to capture the Women’s title back from Victoria, she had another opportunity, this time in a triple threat match involving Jazz at the Grandest Stage Of Stage Of Them All. It was a moment of redemption for Stratus, who finally got one over Victoria when she hit her with a vicious kick to the body. The crowd erupted after seeing Stratus become a 4-time Women’s Champion.
