In his book, Ric Flair completely buried Diamond Dallas Page when he said that DDP’s rise to the top was one of the biggest jokes to ever happen to the industry. He even said that he was a millionaire mainly because he was Eric Bischoff‘s neighbor.
Flair was the one who ate the Diamond Cutter that led to DDP winning his first world title, and with regards to that, Flair said that when he took the Diamond Cutter, it was an insult to the men he had learned from. Thankfully, DDP being the man that he is, took the first step to try to make good with the legend.
They did eventually make up and seemingly have been on good terms since.
