It was December of 2016 and The New Day were edging closer and closer to breaking Demolition‘s record-setting 478-day title reign. It took 28 years, but The New Day managed to do it. On an episode of RAW, The New Day were given one final obstacle to overcome, facing two different teams at once in a Triple Threat.
They narrowly escaped with the victory, cementing their record. They would lose the titles a few days afterwards to Cesaro and Sheamus, ending an epic run with the title at a whopping 483 days!
