A Change in The Hype Bros
It has been a long time since this picture, shown above, meant something. Zack Ryder, aside from his IC title win at WrestleMania 32, has been injured and floundering in a division where it seems like his happy and positive personality is overshadowed by more talented and developed characters. The New Day picked up a win over Mojo and Zack on Smackdown Live, with The Uso’s watching from the commentary table. After, Zack and Mojo talk about how there needs to be a drastic change.
Solution: turn them heels. Mojo is a former football player, so he knows how to get people to boo him. A cheap shot artist with a bloated and cocky personality is exactly what he needs and Zack Ryder should absolutely turn heel. Strip the bright colors, go black and white, and make sure the fans know that they will not be overlooked. How do they do this? Hell, If they want to go all-in on this, have them attack both tag teams at WWE Hell in a Cell, ending what could be another excellent match between The Uso’s and The New Day. Immediate heat on two guys that try too hard to be liked.
Where is Bobby Roode?
Dolph Ziggler came out and mimicked Triple H, Shawn Michaels and DX’s entrance. For the third straight week, Ziggler does the same thing and gets the crowd to boo him even more. This is leading to Roode vs. Ziggler, right? If so, why in the hell are they letting Ziggler do this for almost a month without even showing Bobby Roode. A new-ish face to the WWE Universe should be shown on their show, no matter what. A video package or even a backstage interview should be given to him every single week until they decide when they want to roll with him. I do see Dolph Ziggler doing this until Hell in a Cell, with Bobby Roode coming out and cutting a promo. Roode should then take on Ziggler in a 10 minute match and finally get rolling full steam ahead. I just hate how they give us Roode for a few weeks and then take him off completely. It is illogical and does not help his overall transition.
