Isenberg Reacts: WWE Smackdown Live “Missing Star Power and Must-See Superstars”

Jinder Mocks Shinsuke Nakamura

The Modern Day Maharaja tried to mock Nakamura again, showing his facial expressions and talking about how the fans do not care about him because he is not from America. He says that the WWE Universe would turn on Shinsuke the same way they turned on him. The Singb Brothers laugh at pictures and this is a repeat from last week. The King of Strong Style made it clear in a separate backstage interview that Mahal wouldn’t be laughing at WWE Hell in a Cell, as Nakamura would win the WWE Championship.

Not that I disliked this, but I really did not find this interesting. What is the reason that Nakamura was not in the ring or coming out to the live crowd for the second straight week? I just do not understand how they expect a guy, that does have a language barrier of sorts, to get over when they are rarely using him. Nakamura needs to put on a solid 20 minute match on Smackdown Live to win the crowd over, not use two sentences backstage to get his point across. This segment just does not do anything for me and feel that fans laughing is exactly what WWE should NOT be wanting to happen.

Something With Tye Dillinger

Tye Dillinger came out and attacked Baron Corbin before his United States Championship match took place. Dillinger got some revenge and Styles ended up locking in the Calf Crusher with Corbin tapping out before the match even took place. As much as I want the US Championship Open to be about excellent matches and young talent, I do like the inclusion of Tye Dillinger. I would rather see more than one guy trying to get a shot at AJ Styles and Tye is still a guy who has yet to break through on the main roster. The fans love him and he is a guy who has worked his butt off to establish an identity in WWE and in NXT.

If you give me Tye vs. Baron vs. AJ at WWE Hell in a Cell, I will be very pleased. I just fear that they will have Corbin vs. Dillinger in a one-on-one match on Smackdown Live to decide who faces AJ Styles, with Corbin ultimately winning. We need more people getting to fight with Styles. He is so good, so competitive and extremely professional where he will get the best out of everyone if they decide to do a Triple Threat Match. An aggressive Tye Dillinger is a good thing for him right now, targeting WWE’s most hated heel.
