RAW Women’s Championship
SummerSlam marked the beginning of Sasha Banks’ fourth RAW Women’s Championship reign. This past Monday marked the end of it, as Alexa Bliss regains it a little over a week later. Surprising to most, but it sticks in line with Sasha not being able to successfully defend it. I am not sure the reasoning to get the title off of her, but Alexa Bliss is the best option right now. This match was a solid main event that gave wrestling fans all that they could ask for.
Nia Jax came out and applauded, hoisting her friend in the air. Then, she suddenly dropped her to the mat and raised the championship in the air. Whoever quickly decided to roll with Nia potentially becoming champion is smart. In a world where the title switches over and over again, giving Nia the title would be a great decision. Let her get a decent run until the time is right for Asuka to debut. Either way, swapping titles this much isn’t the best thing, but it does show that WWE has plenty of options for their women and who will carry the strap.
