Last Man Standing Match

I do not think there is a doubt in anyone’s mind that Roman Reigns vs. Braun Strowman is the feud of the year in 2017. Their matches have been memorable, highlight making and intense every time they step into the ring. Tonight was about Last Man Standing and Braun would walk away the winner. Samoa Joe appeared in the crowd and began to choke out Roman Reigns after he took out Braun with a huge spear. Joe walks away with an upper hand on Roman and Braun picks up ANOTHER win on Roman Reigns.

Another solid main event and more intrigue for the championship match at WWE SummerSlam. I really feel, after tonight, that Brock Lesnar is the favorite in the match. I cannot see him “leaving” WWE after a loss and only feel that his continued presence helps others. The emphasis is “continued presence.” If he loses, I do expect him to invoke his rematch clause by the end of 2017. We need more Lesnar, more consistency from Lesnar, and WWE should milk these final 8-10 months as much as possible.

If Brock wins, how does this affect everyone else? I do think Braun Strowman is the guy who should hold the title if they decide to go with a new champion. My only issue would be that Braun is champion, so who faces him? We have seen him and Roman so many times, but maybe a title could keep it fresh? If not, what about Samoa Joe? Many people would sign up for Joe vs. Rollins, Joe vs. Balor, Joe vs. Lesnar (down the road).

Tonight showed us that WWE RAW has a lot of positives in their main event, while everyone else is either in neutral or stagnant.
