Two Beatings, Two Boring Matches
Enzo Amore and Big Cass did battle again and we got the same outcome. Big Show would come down, but Cass beat down Show as well. Big Cass, who has awful music and ring gear, looked strong but do we really believe this guy is going to be great JUST because he beat down Enzo and Big Show?
This has nothing to do with him, but Cass needs something more important sooner rather than later. If Big Show was Big Show a decade ago, I would get it. If Enzo was not 190 pounds, I would be more inclined to see what they are trying to do. Big Cass vs. Big Show is not a match that many people are going to care about and it is simply because we have seen this script so many times before.
Nia Jax squashed Emma, after she complained about not getting any opportunities. If I am WWE, I give us a nice six women tag team match at SummerSlam. You have Charlotte, Becky, Carmella and Tamina with nothing to do at SummerSlam and Sasha, Emma, Dana, Mickie and Nia with nothing to do. Pick and choose and let them work a nice Kickoff Show with some notable names. Tonight did no good for Emma and it is a shame. I do think she is the most underutilized woman in the company. Nia’s new finisher looks painful and that is a good thing.
These two segments were not connecting much and the fans tune out when you give them something like this in consecutive segments.
