Cruiserweight Tag Team Action
Another week of solid action from the 205 Live crew. This week was another tag team match and another victory for Austin Aries and Jack Gallagher. The match on Sunday is a Submission match, so seeing Neville tap out to Last Chancery was a nice sight to tease their match. I do enjoy this action and think the addition of Jack Gallagher and TJP is a good thing, but I wonder how much longer they can keep this feud going. What is the end game here if Neville wins AGAIN on Sunday?
Corey Graves and Kurt Angle
Early in the night, Corey Graves gets a text and leaves the announce table. He shows Kurt Angle and he says this could damage his reputation and his career if this is true. Later in the night, Enzo Amore is attacked and Corey Graves mentions something about Big Cass knowing more about these attacks. He is confronted by Cass at the announce table.
Two segments and two storylines are involving Corey Graves, which I actually like. The guy actually feels like an “insider” due to his history in WWE. Also, I think Graves is the best commentator that they have and using him to further storylines is a perfect way of putting out “Fake News” to relate to the realism of the world today. I will say that I think the story with Kurt Angle is something that will build to his eventual return to the ring. When would that happen? I can easily see his match at SummerSlam, potentially with his job on the line.
