This is Your Life, Bayley

Alexa Bliss has memories of Bayley. She shows off her barbie doll and then a trophy about being the best in sportsmanship. She shows off slinkies and yo-yo’s, as well as an older picture of her in a year book. She introduces her fourth grade teacher and says she was a really nice girl and would cry when she was not near her father. Tracy, her friend, talks about Bayley. She said other people took advantage of her, but was her friend until she never hung out with her so she could watch WWE. We talk to Phil, who says his first date was weird and only wanted to get close to Tracy. They begin to make out. Bayley ends up coming out and attacks the champion. She hits some punches and suplexes, then looks up to the kendo stick. Alexa smacks her with it and then she leaves the ring in pain.

As much as I enjoy Alexa and her efforts tonight, it just did not work like they wanted it to. The actors were not very good and the only part I enjoyed was the make out session. I thought that was pretty comical and her response after was very natural. They tried, but did not get what they needed out of it. Bayley should not use the Kendo Stick until Sunday at Extreme Rules. That was a smart decision on this segment. Hey, at least it was not as bad as “The Old Day,” am I right? The match on Sunday will likely see Bayley get Extreme, but will she win? I hope they let a RAW Women’s Champion hold the title longer than just a month or two.

Goldust Back on WWE RAW

For the third straight week, WWE RAW has scripted a strong segment from Goldust. This week, he talks that the Golden Age is back and then R-Truth cuts his own promo backstage. Like I said weeks ago, I will be a fan of this if they give it time and consistency each week. Three weeks in a row is a good sign that they might carry this through another month or so. They are being creative and letting Goldust do what he does best. This was gold (pun intended) for him in the 90’s and can bring him back to a level of importance. I am invested and interested, which I think most fans can agree on right now.
