Women’s Division Action
It looks like Alexa Bliss has a new friend. Nia Jax wants a title shot and wants it after Bayley is finished with her. She says that she is going to be Alexa Bliss’s best friend until then. This leads to a solid match between Bliss and Mickie James. Bayley gets involved hits a crossbody onto Nia Jax. Mickie James, after a nice spin kick heads up to the top. Alexa hits a big elbow, spilling the opponent to the mat. She picks up the win and runs off as Bayley chases her down. Nia crushes the body of Mickie.
Later in the night, Sasha Banks faces off against Alicia Fox. A suplex, slaps to the face and multiple knees gives Fox the upper hand. As both women head to the top rope, Sasha hits double knees from the top for the win. She fends off an aggressive start for the win. As we know, Sasha is viewed as a champion in WWE while Alicia is used in a love story on 205 Live. A quick match, but I did not mind the night for these women. It was fresh feuds, keeping the focus on the champion and making sure she has some backup.
TJP and Neville Bond
A quick win for TJP, following a post-match assault on Jack Gallagher, pleased his “King.” Austin Aries would come to the aid of Gallagher and the heels would run off. You cannot complain that WWE is trying to add depth and pieces to their division, but not flooding it with multiple talents.
Keeping it simple is the way to go and giving Neville and Aries a “buddy” lets us put more stock in those guys as well. TJP needs to change his entrance, FYI. Make it darker, slower and without the stupid poses.
