Chris Jericho Codebreaks Kevin Owens
Kevin Owens takes a loss to Dean Ambrose on WWE RAW, which tells you everything you need to know. KO will be Smackdown Live Tuesday night, while Chris Jericho’s status remains in limbo. WWE Payback will have stars finishing out their feuds before heading to their new brand, similar to what WWE Battleground was a year ago. You will still get a championship match, a tag team title match, mid card title match and women’s championship match. WWE knows that they can build a program in a few weeks for their PPV on the WWE Network.
Jericho and Owens was great, but Payback needs to be the finish. After this, Jericho is rumored to head on tour with Fozzy. Upon his return, I would love to see another championship run in him. If Goldberg, Lesnar and others can get one, so should Jericho.
My remaining thoughts of the Superstar Shake-up edition of WWE RAW:
Seth Rollins vs. Samoa Joe is a feud I want to see. Both are excellent workers and both put on great matches with a wide variety of talent. Who should be victorious, though? Both men belong on RAW.
The Tag Team division on WWE RAW is very solid. Move a team to Smackdown to help them out.
Apollo Crews: Do we really think this changes his career path? So much talent in the ring, but not much outside of it…yet.
Curt Hawkins: Every three hour show needs a bathroom break. He should’ve been booked much better upon his return to WWE.
Heath Slater and Rhyno: Average team that can provide more interest than The Shining Stars have in WWE. How do those guys still have jobs?
David Otunga: I cannot wait for Graves to rip him a new one every week. You’ve never been around EIGHT WOMEN, DAVID?
Kalisto: Welcome to the Cruiserweight Division. It’s about time.
