He’s Here

The “biggest” surprise to me came when Bray Wyatt interrupted Finn Balor celebrating a win over Jinder Mahal. He tells us that RAW is his new home and he will be watching Finn Balor very closely.

This got the crowd excited, with the potential of creativity and intrigue with two characters that the crowd loves. Bray needs to put a family of some sort back together, while Finn’s Demon King character is waiting to appear once again. The potential for a Bray Wyatt vs. Finn Balor feud is very exciting. Although both men need wins under their belt, this is a much better situation for Balor than I expected. I did not want him to be in the Universal Championship feud immediately upon his return.

There is time and money in Finn’s chase to the championship. Be patient. Bray Wyatt will always captivate the crowd, but I am still awaiting that one incredible match from him that sets him apart from others. Maybe, just maybe, this comes with Balor.

Building Up Braunnnnn Again

After a conversation with Michael Cole about beating The Undertaker, Braun Strowman destroys Roman Reigns. He throws him into the wall,  the garage door and all over backstage. The put him on a stretcher, but Strowman comes back and tosses it over a ledge. Thinking he is finished, they try to load Reigns into the Ambulance. Braun gets into the ambulance, punches Reigns and then tips the ambulance over. Braun’s strength is showcased and the monster takes out the big dog.

Damn, this was good. Excellent execution of a monster who they need to quickly build back up from a lackluster WrestleMania. Roman Reigns vs. Braun Strowman can be really good and help who faces Brock Lesnar next. In all honesty, WWE should feed the beast BOTH men. It protects all three is one takes the pinfall loss and another is not involved in the situation. Realistically speaking, Brock Lesnar may not defend his Universal Championship until WWE Extreme Rules in June. With Payback a few weeks away, he is not advertised and there is no May Pay-Per-View for WWE RAW. Can they milk it for THAT long?
