Nikki Bella vs. Natalya
Nikki starts attacking Natalya with a kendo stick. Nikki goes for the cover, but Natalya kicks out at two. Nikki whips Natalya back first to the barricade. Nikki proceeds to launch Natalya into the crowd. Natalya does the you can’t see me hand gesture. Natalya sends Nikki to the production area. Natalya says that Nikki is pathetic.
Natalya goes for a vertical suplex off the barricade, but Nikki counters with a big boot. Nikki with a flying roundhouse kick off the barricade for a two count. Nikki tosses Natalya back to ringside. Natalya regains momentum by tossing her back first to the barricade. Natalya irish whips Nikki shoulder first to the steel ring steps for a two count. Natalya clears the announcers table. Nikki fires up with a series of forearm strikes. Natalya with a shoulder block to the midsection of Nikki. Natalya goes for a powerbomb, but Nikki gets back on her feet. Nikki with an Alabama Slam across the table for a two count.
A surprisingly good No Disqualification match that had some nice moments to it. I enjoyed the Alabama Slam and the glass breaking the most, with Natalya taking the shot to the face. Nikki and Natalya needed some sort of finality so both women can move on. Like previously mentioned, Natalya in a title match would not be the worst thing. Nikki will now move her focus to The Miz and Maryse, as the latter attacked her with a steel pipe. I would have loved Maryse actually following through on her hits the back and stomach with the pipe.
If you think this is not a good match for John Cena, I think you need to realize that it’s going to benefit The Miz so much more than anything else. This mixed tag team match will potentially be Nikki’s last and WWE has done a great job at not using Cena and Nikki in a ring together. We know their story, but WWE has not put that story inside the squared circle. Now is the time and I am actually interested to see how the next 4 weeks come off with The Miz at his best and John Cena still doing what he does.
