Paul Heyman and Brock Lesnar Warn Goldberg
With Brock Lesnar looking right into the camera, Paul Heyman is behind him talking about Goldberg. He talks about Brock being focused and if Goldberg somehow wins the WWE Universal Championship, it will be something else that Brock will take from Goldberg at WrestleMania 33.
I really thought Brock Lesnar was going to say something here, but it was effective as per usual with Paul Heyman. A warning, even though he lost twice to Goldberg, still should be taken seriously. Yes, Brock needs built up, but what better way than to do it against the guy that has quieted him more than anyone. This promo tells me that Goldberg is a lock to win the WWE Universal Championship.
Braun Strowman Is Main Event Material
Braun Strowman faced The Big Show in a match that the LOS ANGELES CROWD CHANTED “THIS IS AWESOME.” Yes, you read that correctly. Braun and Big Show put on a surprisingly good match, one that showed much more of Strowman’s ability in the ring, his athleticism and endurance. Those last two details of Strowman is what the WWE Universe craves in big men. From the leap to his feet from his back or some technicality shown on the mat., Strowman is now a main event guy who should be treated like that. Some teasing of breaking the ring was nice to get the crowd to their feet, but it was not needed tonight.
When you think of Strowman vs. Roman Reigns, it’s not going to be a Ryback vs. Mark Henry from WrestleMania 29. It will be a 10-15 minute match where both men will be able to showcase how good they can be. I like this and like how Braun Strowman stepped up and hit a home run in the first opportunity he had against a guy that could have easily made him look slow. I will also congratulate a much leaner and enjoyable Big Show in the ring. He is trying to get a few more good matches on his resume and his health is going to carry him into something outside of the ring in WWE for quite some time.
