Sorry, but I do not believe Dave Meltzer’s report of this match being off the table. I think this is the best option for WWE, giving two legends a chance to fight on the grand stage of WrestleMania. They never got the opportunity to pit The Rock and The Undertaker or Sting and The Undertaker, so this is next best. WWE needs to realize that neither of these men should be competing for a world championship in April. There is no need and those titles can help elevate another feud and make it much more important.

John Cena and The Undertaker are WWE born and bred, creating their legacies under one umbrella and both deemed “Vince’s boys.” This also gives the Chairman of the Board an opportunity to return to television and talk about how he created both legacies. It is a match that is so simple, yet so intriguing, to do. I really do not think anyone would be upset to see both of these men face off. The best part would be the question that would have no answer: Who Wins?

Neither needs the win and John Cena is known for coming up big on the big stage. Big match John has won at WrestleMania 20, 21, 22, 23, 25, 26, 29, 30 and 31. We all know The Undertaker’s record, so this would be an excellent way of putting two of the best at WrestleMania. It makes too much sense, which could be why they DO NOT go with it.
