Isenberg Reacts: WWE RAW “The Deadman’s Statement and Jericho Makes History”

The Women’s Division In Confusion

A tag team match on WWE RAW pitted Nia Jax and Charlotte vs. Sasha Banks and Bayley. This is not going to be a popular opinion, but Bayley bores me. Ever since she has arrived on WWE RAW, she has not evolved or developed into what I wanted her to be. Her window, which was once wide open, is closing. A loss to Nia Jax tonight does what for her? Honestly, I have no clue. If WWE really wants to boost her back up, scrap the Women’s Championship match and put on a 20 women Royal Rumble match. Have Bayley actually fight through multiple women to get her shot. At the end of the day, Bayley needs more than “this being her dream.” She needs to show an edge, a tough side. Defeats like this aren’t helping her and I really want her to get back to the level we all fell in love with her at.

More New Day and Titus O’Neil

The New Day talks about how Titus is still trying to be in the New Day. They show a clip of him in NXT (before NXT was cool) and falling over while running with a keg. He does it again, but drops the keg before the line. (Similar to Desean Jackson fumbling the ball before the endzone.) It leads to a quick match, with Kofi hitting Trouble in Paradise.

So, what will WWE do with The New Day? Without the titles, they are coasting into the Royal Rumble with no meaning. It will be interesting to see how they resurrect them heading into Orlando. I am not sure what options they have right now. Luckily, they are still entertaining even when given little to work with.
