Bobby Roode vs. Oney Lorcan
Fast paced action for Oney Lorcan, as he looks to upset the glorious one. Lorcan hits a few Uppercuts to Bobby, followed by a nice release suplex. He sets Roode on top, but Roode hits elbow strikes to send Lorcan into the ropes. He gets hung up and Roode is able to climb down and begin his assault. He kicks him in the corner a few times and then throws his head into the mat. He uses the apron to cover Lorcan’s face and he hits another big elbow. Back in the ring, Lorcan tries to throw haymakers. Roode has none of it and tries a neckbreaker. Lorcan rolls him up for two, hits more elbow shots and chops to the chest. Lorcan misses a boot in the corner, but hits a neckbreaker.
Bobby catches his breath and hits a massive spinebuster. He grabs Lorcan and hits a Glorious DDT to pick up the win and advance.
Bobby Roode was on the ropes, as 80 percent of the match was controlled by Oney Lorcan’s explosive and physical offense. There was never a doubt that Bobby Roode was going to win and it brings plenty of intrigue to a match next week on NXT. Bobby Roode vs. Tye Dillinger vs. Roderick Strong vs. Andrade Cien Almas. As Nakamura remains champion, isn’t there only ONE true heel that could face Shinsuke next? It could be a fast track, but it could also be a strong and glorious track to follow.
