The New Day Wins Again
I said it a week ago and I will say it again… The New Day will keep finding cheap ways to win without hurting other teams. Surprising, since the past year has been all about The New Day and how good they are as an act. They are consistent and still over, but have really managed to hurt some teams along the way. Luckily, a match against Anderson and Gallows took place on WWE RAW and almost saw new champions. Grabbing the tights was the way for the tag team champs to continue their streak and give Anderson and Gallows some time to complain about it. What is this building for? Well, they break the record in 13 days and then will most likely face off against not one, but maybe two or three teams at WWE Roadblock. At that point, the record is broken and the champions MUST drop the titles.
The Club MUST win the titles. They MUST go on to face Sheamus and Cesaro. What is the point of this if they do not? A fresh tag team feud is what WWE needs and The New Day has done it all and faced them all. I would still keep them together, but there has to be something more creative for them. Overcoming adversity has been something that they have not done much of while being champions. The only real intriguing team they faced was The Wyatt Family and that lasted only a few weeks.
They have put on great matches and are always enjoyable. WWE needs to find a way to either continue their momentum after dropping the titles or potentially break them apart. The next two months are critical in the RAW Tag Team Division.
