Isenberg Reacts: WWE RAW “History Is Made”

History Ends RAW

We all know Trish and Lita main eventing RAW over ten years ago. We know how the Women’s Division turned into the Divas Division and back to the Women’s division. We knew how talented the women on the roster are and how great some matches have been over the past two years. We all know this. What we did not know is that these women can CONTINUE to raise the bar. When given the opportunity, they can steal the entire show. Sasha Banks and Charlotte did just that.

Enough of me going move by move. Go back and watch the 15-20 minutes that both women poured into the ring, with sweat and tears to end it. You have to sit and think about what this can do in the future. With the athleticism shown by Charlotte and Sasha, including the incredible corkscrew off the top, WWE has a wide array of options. Could this match give us a future Money in the Bank Ladder Match? Could it give us a Hell in a Cell? Could there be a Royal Rumble for the right to fight at WrestleMania? Charlotte and Sasha are the top of the class, but adding talent like Becky, Alexa, Nikki, Naomi, Emma (hope her new gimmick works), Eva Marie and Bayley will ultimately make this JUST as important as the men. A PPV main event should come soon, potentially at WWE Roadblock. Charlotte should take a month off, come back in November ready to go for the long stretch into WrestleMania season. You can put Bayley, Nia Jax and others to face Sasha until then.

I loved this main event and loved the build for it. It was a great match, a memorable one and one that will have people talking for years to come. Was it a Tye Dillinger? No, but it was close enough to make an impact on the entire brand of WWE.
