Seth Sits Down With Michael Cole
Cole asks Rollins about Kevin Owens beating him for the WWE Universal Championship. Rollins cuts him off and says Owens didn’t defeat him, Triple H did. Seth Rollins says they have both had a ton of success, but that is where the comparison stops because Seth did it at WrestleMania himself. He says Owens is just a cog in the machine and is a guy that needed Triple H’s help to even with the title. Rollins is going to tear the machine to the ground, and that means he has to cancel The Kevin Owens Show.
I like the change of pace here, with Seth Rollins sitting down with Michael Cole to talk about the comparisons that people will make. I thought he did a great job at trying to make him sound like a face, even though most of his championship wins had help. Either way, Seth and Kevin are two guys that RAW needs to thrive. They are doing a great job at building both men without having to have physical altercations each week. That is what happens when you are blessed with two great mic workers, but two workers that take completely different stances on how they are viewed by the WWE Universe.
Braun Wants Competition
Another squash match for Braun Strowman, but it seems to be nearing the end of it. He tells Mick Foley that he wants actual competition next week on RAW or there isn’t going to be a next week. It might not have been the best wording in the world, but we understand what he is trying to say. Hopefully, they do not bring guys like Mark Henry or Big Show to face Strowman. I really do not think you need “size” to compete with Braun, but maybe someone who could really use a new challenge. I am not sure who, but please stop giving us guys with names that sound like porn stars. Chase Silver? Really?
