Isenberg Reacts: NXT Takeover Brooklyn “Two Mega Stars Are Here”

It is hard to beat the entrance from Bobby Roode, but Shinsuke Nakamura did just that. A live Violin playing before his song hit was stellar. Intimate and the crowd absolutely loved it. It was quite the touch of culture for NXT and for this match, one with such high profile. It might be one of the best entrances I have ever seen.

The match itself was everything I wanted and more. Joe controlled the pace early on. Nakamura battled back strong and was really crisp and precise with his attacking. He focused on the lower body, smart in sense and style. His charisma oozes out every step and look he has.

At the end of this instant classic, NXT is in a great place. They have depth from young and unproven guys to the leadership of guys like Bobby Roode, Samoa Joe, Austin Aries and Shinsuke Nakamura. It is a really great balance they have and I think this was just as good, if not better than last year’s event. The intensity and storytelling from each match gave you a unique look from all the competitors involved. Creativity… check. Drama…check. Success.

His life outside of his obsession with wrestling include being a savant for Seinfeld, NFL, NBA, MLB and many television shows. He also has an undying love for musicals, which includes many shows he was a part of in high school. Some of his favorite wrestling moments can be linked to such superstars as Edge, The Rock, Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels and The Great Khali.
