Another Big Push For Dana Brooke
WWE sees what I see in Dana Brooke and that is MONEY! Charlotte vs. Natalya in a Submission match took place at Extreme Rules and was good, but not great. It seemed like both women ending Raw meant that they had immense pressure but did not meet my expectations. When Charlotte seemed to be down and out, Ric’s music hit. Out comes Dana Brooke dressed in a Flair robe. Charlotte is able to use the distraction and lock in the Figure Eight for the win.
I enjoyed the ending, even though we still need to see Charlotte on her own. There will be a time where her split with her father gives her a huge bump, but this heel gimmick she has is so old school and so natural. Her gimmick gets a reaction and that is KEY in the women’s division. I wonder if WWE will keep the title on her past SummerSlam. We MUST see Sasha Banks back into the picture. She is the one woman that can take the title off of her, but there could be one more match with Natalya. I would rather see Charlotte work with her on Raw and the following week have some sort of Battle Royal to crown a new contender.
It should NOT be Sasha. Sasha should be used at SummerSlam in a championship match and that is only a few months away. Whatever WWE decided to do, they must slowly and intelligently move Charlotte away from Ric and more with Dana. Dana “Bodyguard” Brooke sounds like $$$.
