Edge vs Chris Jericho, July 25, 2002

This episode wasn’t only about Edge and Jericho battling it out. The entire show was simply packed with stars, action, drama, and wrestling, all wrapped in one huge ball of entertainment. It opened up with The Rock and Hulk Hogan challenging the Un-Americans for the WWE Tag Team Championship. The audience was simply treated to the spectacle of two industry icons partnering together for the chance to win the title. While The Rock and The Hulk didn’t manage to crown themselves with the title, they did get a disqualification victory, ensuring that they remained undefeated as a team.

Then came the cage match between feuding Edge and Chris Jericho. It was bloody, it was gruesome, it was brilliant. The young rising star, Edge, got the biggest win of his career at that point. Mark Henry defeated Angle by disqualification, and when Brock interfered, Val Venis pinned D’Von, Rikishi pinned Albert. There was a massive bout with Christian and Storm, Edge, Rey Mysterio, Chavo Guerrero, proving that the biggest charm of Smackdown was the uncompromising quality of its entertainment and that it was a playground for future starts to showcase their talents.

Nick was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, and lived there until the age of 18, when he decided to pack his flack jacket and move to New York City.

Nick attended New York University and graduated in 2001 with a degree in Drama.

Nick first entered the internet wrestling community back in 2004 when he became the co-host of The Voice of Wrestling Radio Show. From there, Nick made the transition from radio personality to editor when he began working with WrestleZone in 2008.

Nick is a member of two Off-Broadway theatre companies, Another Urban Riff, and the Drama Desk Award winning Godlight Theatre Company. Nick has appeared in over a dozen Off-Broadway plays since he moved to New York City, and has shot several short and feature length films. In 2010, he completed principle photography on a film titled "How to Score Your Life," which also features TNA Knockout ODB.

Inspiration in his life has come from many people including his family, Woody Allen, Steven Spielberg, Jack Nicholson, The Beatles, and of course, Lassie.
