Isenberg Reacts: WWE Raw “Resetting The Roster and Storylines”

Charlotte is introduced as the champion and she talks about women’s wrestling in a very genuine and kind way. The fans first boo, but her ability to calm them and talk realistically helped this segment. With all of the women in the ring, she talks about how far everyone has come and then talks about how she is most deserving. I loved it. I loved the quick change because you must always have her hitting the fact that she is the champion and was born for this business.

I do question WWE quickly changing Charlotte vs. Becky Lynch vs. Sasha Banks to Natalya. Maybe this will be just for about a month, but the momentum of the best women’s match in WrestleMania history should be carried over, not transitioning into a new feud for the champion. All in all, a great segment and hopefully this is the first of big things happening. I can see WWE Women’s Championship matches ending Raw, Smackdown and potentially Pay-Per-Views in the near future.

*As for Shane running Raw tonight, I expect something more to happen next week in Los Angeles with him and his family. This is far from over.*

His life outside of his obsession with wrestling include being a savant for Seinfeld, NFL, NBA, MLB and many television shows. He also has an undying love for musicals, which includes many shows he was a part of in high school. Some of his favorite wrestling moments can be linked to such superstars as Edge, The Rock, Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels and The Great Khali.
