I enjoyed Hell in a Cell. It provided what it needed to, nothing more and nothing less. Being in the 300 section, I was basically watching it on a huge television screen. This match had emotion and intensity. It had bumps, bruises and the amazing spot from Shane McMahon. We also had tables broken and Shane McMahon laying it all out there for the sake of entertainment.  I am interested to see how much the commentary helps this match. When live, it is difficult to really hear the story being told. It was like this a little bit at WrestleMania 28.

My biggest issue was that WWE told everyone that Shane was a last minute replacement and that this storyline was decided about a week before Shane returning. Maybe that is why it seemed like they felt that they needed to add other stipulations. People bash Shane not winning or any outside interference. I agree with all of these points. The one piece missing was that Shane did not get really close to beat The Undertaker. Was there a moment where you felt Taker would not get his shoulders off the mat before three? If Shane is gone, this is a big missed opportunity for WWE to develop an intricate and intelligent storyline for months after WrestleMania.

Shane vs. The Undertaker won’t go down as the worst Hell in a Cell, but definitely not the best.
