The WrestleMania Diaries: WrestleMania 28 in Miami “A Shot of Tequila And ECW”

Daniel Bryan Top 10

Shock. Awe. Daniel Bryan lost in record time against Sheamus, but the Yes Movement began. You just KNEW that he was onto something special and the first match set the pace for a very intriguing night. And then the traditional Randy Orton non-title WrestleMania match, but losing to Kane this year. Surprising to me, but not a disappointment. With Big Show beating Cody Rhodes in 5 minutes, I wondered if this was ever going to truly pick up and continue the hot start. After a tag team match that people cared more about Maria  Menounos’s white pants than anything else, we finally got one of the most emotionally charged and intense bouts I have ever seen. Hell in a Cell and End of an Era was something that was even more amazing live. The stage was never too big for these guys and it was spectacular. Bret Hart called it a 4/10. Give me a damn break. Everyone raved about this match and really got the event back on track.

Team Johnny vs. Team Teddy was exactly what we thought, just a bunch of guys fighting for something that seemed more important than it was. After that, Punk vs. Jericho and Rock vs. Cena made this WrestleMania above average and slightly short of great. The moments were great and the event reminded me of one thing: no matter what matches are on the card and how they are executed, WrestleMania is more than just a 4 hour show. WrestleMania is a spectacle of events, a week of opportunities and a lifetime of memories.

WrestleMania 29 was Once in a Lifetime, Take Two. New York City? CSR? Trust me, the weekend had MANY memories.
