Isenberg Reacts: WWE Raw “Wrong Direction, Wrong Time”

The League of Nations vs. The Lucha Dragons

sheamus-2-3.jpeg

Cara and Sheamus start things off and Cara dropkicks Rusev. Sheamus hits a backbreaker and then throws him to the outside. Rusev throws him into the barricade. Rusev kicks him in the back multiple times and then hits a clothesline.  Rusev teases Kalisto and then tags in Sheamus. Cara continues to get beaten down by chops to the chest from the Celtic Warrior.  More offense from the heels until Sin Cara hits a Tornado DDT. Kalisto gets into the ring and hits a Corkscrew and then a hurricanranna. Kalisto hits a Suicide Dive and then a splash from the top rope. Rusev kicks him in the head and takes the loss.

Good, not great, action from all four men tonight, but I am not sure where WWE wants to go with The League of Nations. Do they want them to become Tag Team Champions? Do they want to involve them in the United States Championship? I love the fact that WWE is actually giving them victories over legit talent. There is time to build these guys up, but it will take time.

The Snap of Ryback

Ryback makes quick work of Adam Rose and walks out aggressively. I am not sure if he is a heel or a face right now. He faces a member of the “heel team,” but also walks out on two faces. I still think WWE is not sure what to do with him, which makes sense of the inconsistent booking.

He looks better than ever physically and puts on better than average matches. The direction is all over the place, but there might be a saving grace for him.
