Indianapolis. Atlanta. Milwaukee. Cincinnati. The next month, WWE Smackdown are in major cities and notable arenas over the next month. Usually, they would get stuck with a much smaller market. WWE targets Smackdown in smaller arenas and cities. That is why you see Smackdown usually in Corpus Christi, Texas and not Dallas. You will see Dayton, Ohio getting a Smackdown one night after Cleveland hosts RAW. When you book Smackdown in a bigger city and advertise some big names, people will no longer view it as a “B Show.” It may always be the second show, but does not mean that they must be inferior to RAW.
Will any of this matter if Smackdown is always taped on a Tuesday and aired two days later? They took a big step moving away from Friday nights. The next step would be live on Tuesday.
