The Rock Returns
After a hilarious encounter with several superstars and women backstage, The Rock gets onto the stage and the camera crew follows him in the gorilla position. He asks if Miami is ready and hits his line before hitting the ring. His music hits and here comes The Rock. He grabs a mic and begins to talk about WrestleMania. He talks about breaking records and then says he goes off the script. He begins to talk to some fans dressed as former wrestlers. He gets back into the ring and says he wants to talk about tonight. He gets interrupted by The New Day. The New Day says they want to talk about themselves and then discuss beating The Rock’s cousins. They ask to see his gold and they say he does not have any. Rock talks about The New Day and then says that it is amazing when they wear llama penises strapped to their head.
He calls Big E big momma and then calls Big E is a nerd. The Uso’s come out and a Rock Bottom on Big E, followed by a People’s Elbow on Woods.
The beginning of the segment was extremely fresh, unique and captivating. He will always have it and will always grab the attention of fans. The segment takes a good turn with The New Day coming back and making fun of The Rock and he fires back. The involvement with his family was fun to watch, but it looks like The Rock will not be wrestling… or will he? This was worth every 20 minutes of it. He still has it and it looks like WWE knows that whenever they need 20 minutes to fill they can call on The Rock.
Total Divas Plug
Like usual, a quick match with little effect in the long run. Paige and Natalya defeated Brie Bella and Alicia Fox. Paige hits her finisher and picks up the win. Not much to note here aside from their usual plug. If you think WWE cares about wasting a segment, think again.
