Keep Roman Away
John Cena returns and faces off against Alberto Del Rio for the United States Championship. An excellent match and one that superseded their bout when Del Rio returned. John Cena looked fresh, fast and healthy. As it looked to be Cena wrapping up another championship, The League of Nations came out and caused a disqualification.
This prompted Roman Reigns to come out and make the save. He cleared the ring and helped John Cena out. Mr. McMahon came out, after being arrested earlier in the night during a bad acting job, and said that Roman Reigns vs. Sheamus will take place on Raw next week with himself as the special guest referee. This concludes Raw.
Okay, let’s break this down efficiently. John Cena is back and that is nothing but good news for WWE. Star power, face or heel, is always something you need. You put Cena in a great spot to be cheered by having him face guys that people just do not like. Guys like Sheamus, Del Rio and Rusev. Yes, he has faced these guys multiple times. I do think that this could help him keep this stable afloat. Get them over together!
Second, Roman Reigns needs to stay the hell away from John Cena. Do you really think the fans will keep cheering him if you place him in a situation to save a very polarizing figure like John Cena? They can easily turn on him as fast as they cheered him in Philadelphia a few weeks ago. He must not tag team with Cena, be his boy. John Cena is his own world, his own person. Keep Roman away for his sake.
At the end of the day, one thing remains. Mr. McMahon is your best heel. Is this a problem?
