Tag Team Match
Jack Swagger and Ryback work on Rusev in the ring, with Swagger sending him into the ropes a few times. Ryback hits a vertical suplex and then tries to hit a suplex. Del Rio kicks him in the side of the head and then punches him to the mat. In comes Rusev for a few strikes. They isolate Ryback from Swagger until he finally battles back. Swagger gets into the ring and hits some punches and a splash. He locks in the Patriot Lock, but Del Rio connects with a back stabber. Ryback hits a big boot.
Rusev hits him in the back, but Del Rio and Rusev hit two kicks to pick up the victory. A little assist from Lana and The League of Nations pick up the win.
Good tag team match tonight with the heels getting the win. Where is Barrett? I am so confused and really annoyed by this. Out of everyone, he is the guy that needs the push and constant exposure. Either way, the match was pretty good with nothing spectacular but very consistent acting.
Neville vs. Tyler Breeze
The Miz comes out like a movie director and tells the superstars “action.” Both men exchange some back and forth action, while Neville wrenches his neck. Neville hits a spin kick to take down Breeze. Miz tells him to put him into a suplex. Breeze fights back and hits a nice elbow shot and then a neckbreaker. He applies a sleeper hold and then shoulder thrusts into the corner. Neville hits a Red Arrow for the win.
I am not sure why The Miz is with him, but at least it’s something different for both men. Although, I wish Tyler would have picked up the win. Let Neville struggle a bit with his matches to the point where he listens to The Miz. That might be a better way to set up the action in the ring. This is a red flag that WWE should not have brought Breeze up if this is what he will be used for. It sucks for him.
