What Does This Do For The Undertaker?
Well, the tag team match featured Bray Wyatt and Luke Harper vs. Kane and The Undertaker. Instead of WWE giving a big push to someone who desperately needs it, this match was used for a small thank you to someone who has put his entire career in the company.
Look, we get it. The Undertaker is one of the greatest all-time. Look at his championship reigns, his streak and his durability. His character may be the most successful and unique one in history. My biggest question is this: what does a win tonight do for his legacy? NOTHING.
Instead of WWE giving the keys to darkness for Bray Wyatt, they use Bray as a pawn in a very simplistic game. He gets…buried. I hate that term, but what else can you say? He loses again. He looks weak again. He is a guy that desperately needed a huge win on his resume and he did not get it tonight in a rather meaningless match. Why do I care about him now? Why should I be afraid of “The New Face of Fear” when he can’t even beat two guys that NEVER NEED TO WIN AGAIN.
Back to square one for The Wyatt Family. A square they have been stuck in for 2 years.
