Undercard Matches
Whether you loved or hated the event, it is hard to say that Charlotte vs. Paige was not an excellent match. They gave us drama and time, effort and consistency. There was also a few really good spots, including a Spear off of the barricade. It was exactly what these two needed to do.
The only thing I would have changed is that Charlotte should’ve ran Paige down before the match and start ON FIRE. Either way it was booked, these ladies made a great match and it appears a finality in their feud. Good stuff and a well developed match.
So, Dolph Ziggler loses to Tyler Breeze. I love Breeze’s gimmick, especially since Dolph seems to transition into some 80’s rockstar type of look. With Breeze, it is all about timing. An October debut is good for a young guy because it gives him 4 months to really establish his persona and spot on the main roster. For Breeze, I can see him in a speciality match at WrestleMania 32. Maybe some Ladder Match or Contender’s match would do him best. This match did not get enough time or exposure the past few weeks and feel a little flat for me. I expected more out of fantastic performers.
