What is Next in The Turf War?
Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose defeated The New Day via disqualification. The end of the night featured more development in the turf wars between the two “families.”
The challenge from Bray Wyatt was laid down. It looks like Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose will need to find a third to challenge The Wyatt Family at Night of Champions. It seems like it is a bit forced, but Braun Stroman has dominated and there needs to be an answer.
I really do not want to see Erick Rowan as the third. Not at all. This is the simple way out, but is it the right call? Does he really look like a guy that could side with Roman and Dean? Maybe, just maybe he shaves the beard and has somewhat of a new look. I would still not want him to align himself. Instead of him, bring someone else up. But who? I really do not think that this will be a long-term deal, having The Shield 2.o created.
In the long run, The Wyatt Family will be more of an established group than whomever Reigns and Ambrose bring into the mix. Focus on the family and not a protective shield.
