WWE Intercontinental Championship
Big Show punches and slaps Ryback, but Ryback punches back a few times. Big Show shoulder tackles him. Ryback hits a few clotheslines only to get slapped in the chest again. Show clotheslines him and steps on his lower back. He grabs a mic and yells and the crowd about not retiring. Ryback continues to get kicked on the mat. Fighting back, he hits some punches and then Big Show hits a DDT.
Ryback hits a spinebuster and a two count. He sets up for the clothesline, but gets caught with a chokeslam. Show heads up top, but Ryback cuts him off and throws him off the top. Meathook gets stopped with a spear and a two count once again. Miz distracts and Ryback hits Shell Shock for the win.
I am not sure why The Miz aided Ryback. Two weeks in a row, a heel helps Ryback pick up the victory. Are they trying to preserve Big Show? Ryback should have picked up a clean win, not being helped by a heel. Where is the logic?
Cesaro vs. Kevin Owens
Cesaro hits a stalling suplex and then stomps onto Owens’ chest. He gets a two count and then begins to work away at his opponent. Kevin Owens connects with more slaps and Cesaro hits another clothesline. He hits a big uppercut and hits a crossbody for two. KO comes back firing with more slaps and more punches, making this a physical bout. He hits a cannonball and yells to the crowd.
He throws Cesaro into the ring post. He hits a spinning neckbreaker for two as Raw heads to a break. Both men are on the top rope and then Cesaro hits a dropkick. Cesaro lifts him up and hits gutwrench suplex from the top rope. Cesaro unloads a few uppercuts in the corner and then a rotating suplex for two. Owens is able to reverse him and hits a superkick. He misses a cannonball and then they go back and forth. He blocks a tornado DDT and counters it into a crossface. He hangs up Cesaro and hits him into the corner. Owens attacks the stomach and then hits a pop-up powerbomb for the win.
Excellent bout between two rivals in WWE. I love watching the little things Owens does, like yelling a the referee and crowd during move sets. He keep the realism in the match and this was just a great fight. I really wanted Cesaro to pick up the win, but understand they need to keep Owens relevant and winning.
