How does WWE Fill out the Card?
With John Cena most likely facing Seth Rollins, it leaves open a spot for Cesaro, Kevin Owens, Randy Orton, Sheamus and others floating around. If they make these matches singles bouts, there MUST be something on the line. I would love Kevin Owens vs. Cesaro with the winner getting a shot at a championship. Or, you can have the briefcase on the line between Orton and Sheamus. I am not for that briefcase being defended often, but this is a BIG event and you need to make matches we usually see on Raw or Smackdown mean something MORE.
Other matches that are considered: Neville or Steven Amell vs. Stardust. I still do not get the point of this, but okay. I do not watch the CW or watch Arrow, so this misses the boat for me.
What about Dolph and Lana vs. Rusev and Summer Rae? People would be interested just to see Lana, who is currently training, in the ring. She would only need a few moves and one big spot to make it memorable. Let Dolph and Rusev carry the match.
Lastly, Reigns and Ambrose vs. Wyatt Family. This could be fun, but it has been done. Is there a new member to Wyatt Family? Can it be a 6 man tag? Probably not, but a tag team match could certainly make this match entertaining. It may not have much importance the next night, but it can certainly be accepted by the New York crowd.
