Isenberg Reacts: WWE Raw “Royal Rumble Heats Up on Raw”

Divas Tag Team Action

Paige and Natalya pick up a victory over Summer Rae and Alicia Fox. It was also announced that Paige and Natalya will team up to take on Nikki and Brie Bella at the Royal Rumble. As a person who wants to see more relevancy and intrigue to a weak Divas division, I really think the tag team match is actually a good thing for a few reasons.

1. Four of the Total Divas will be in action and not waste the talents of Paige and Natalya with a loss. (Total Divas on E! is still a big piece to WWE building their brand)

2. This could leave an opening for a Fatal Four Way Divas Championship match in a month or even at WrestleMania 31. I would be in favor of the latter.

3. Paige gets a PPV match, which is overdue.

4. Natalya gets a match and will not win the championship. Not that she doesn’t deserve it, but her gimmick needs a tune-up.

Raw Quick Hits

-Rusev is losing steam because he does not have a feud. This is the least interested I have been in him and do not expect him to do much on Sunday. I can see him eliminating a few men and then other guys gang up and toss him out.

-The Miz loses to an Uso. Is it bad that I wish WWE would put their names on their wrestling gear? The tag match will be good on Sunday, but I doubt a title change will occur.

-Raw Reunion was a success in terms of utilizing the legends. I still would like to see guys I haven’t seen in quite some time.

Currently, Josh Isenberg works for Major League Baseball in their Advanced Media Productions. He grew up in Pittsburgh and went to Point Park University, which is where Chair Shot Reality is filmed each week.
His life outside of his obsession with wrestling include being a savant for Seinfeld, NFL, NBA, MLB and many television shows. He also has an undying love for musicals, which includes many shows he was a part of in high school. Some of his favorite wrestling moments can be linked to such superstars as Edge, The Rock, Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels and The Great Khali.
