#2 – Shawn Michaels vs. Razor Ramon

This is one of those matches that almost didn’t happen, and to this day there’s a lot of speculation as to why it did. Coming off WrestleMania XI, the expected feud was Shawn Michaels against Psycho Sid, with a side program against Jerry Lawler running on Monday Night Raw leading into it. Plans were changed, and Razor Ramon was thrown into the match with a ladder added in for good measure.
Despite a lack of storyline build up, Michaels and the former 3-time Intercontinental Champion Razor Ramon went to war in a ladder match…again. You can argue over which ladder match was the best – SummerSlam or WrestleMania X – but they’re both pure classics from start to finish.
