#6 – Hulkamania Meets Attitude Era
I was happy with my purchase of the WWE Network within the first 20 minutes of WrestleMania 30. Hulk Hogan, "Stone Cold" Steve Austin and The Rock, all in one ring, taking jabs at each other, cutting promos, slinging their catchphrases, and drinking some beers. It doesn't get much better than that.
Here's a subtle thing I noticed about this segment. When The Rock hits the ring, normally he mounts a turnbuckle, throws his fist in the air, and then crosses the ring to duplicate that maneuver. More importantly, he's rather famous for ignoring ANYBODY that happens to be in the ring. This time he stopped, shook Hogan's hand, hugged Austin, and THEN did his traditional pose. Maybe it wasn't intentional, but Rock is usually way too methodical about his persona and entrance to assume anything. In my opinion, that was the ultimate sign of respect.
It was a great way to kick off what was a fantastic night with tons of "WrestleMania moments", some good, some shocking, all memorable.
